Policies and Deposits


Ahu Lani Retreat Center is a long-term facility rental. We require a minimum 3 night stay.

We will do our best to accommodate changes in your booking, but once we block your selected dates, we no longer make them available for other guests. So while we will do our best to work with you if you have to make changes, these are our policies for your booking with Ahu Lani. 


Deposit Policy

We require a $500 non refundable deposit for reservations 60 days or more in advance to hold those dates. 

60 days prior to your arrival 50% of the total is due, after deducting the $500 hold deposit  (if that was already paid).  

30 days prior to your arrival the balance is due.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel outside of 60 days prior to your arrival you have two options you will forfiet your non-refundable deposit.

Any amount paid within 60 days is also non-refundable.

Cleaning Fees

All events require a minimum of $500 cleaning fee for every 15 days.

Kitchen cleaning is dependent on food services requirements, but if no services are hired, the kitchen will not be cleaned during the supplemental cleaning days unless requested.

Karma Deposit

All events require a $800 security deposit for any damages and excessive cleaning.

We  want to build relationships and invite you into our community to enjoy something unique, a Hawaiian Mountain Forest. We are always on-site for every event/stay, we live here. We are the stewards of this land and we are here to help you enjoy your visit as well. Broken things need to be fixed, and worn things need to be maintained. If you respect our land and home we'll be very helpful. If things just aren't working, we reserve the right to ask you to leave. We're no pirates, just mermaids and space travelers.
